Humbermed.co.uk was formed to combine the expertise of Dr Clayton, Dr Williams and Mr Ledger together to provide an accessible, fast, and reliable service for individuals and companies requiring cost effective:-  Offshore Medicals - OEUK, Wind Farm, HSE Dive Medicals, HGV or LGV and PCV (D4) Medical Examinations.    

Dr Williams retired from the NHS in September 2018, but we are pleased to confirm that he will continue to work for  Humbermed Limited.  

Between the three of us we have over 40 years combined experience in assessing the fitness of offshore workers and divers and have worked closely with a number of local, national and international companies over this period of time.

In addition we undertake a number of other medical assessments that are both offshore and onshore related - 'Post Medevac' assessments; fitness to return to work offshore assessments, Emergency Response Team, Working at heights (RUK), Assessment of Fitness to Train using EBS, audiometry, spirometry etc.  We are also certified to offer Shoulder (Bideltoid) measurements for offshore workers to comply with the requirements for helicopter passengers.

To get a Provisional / Learner Licence to drive a truck or bus / coach you must have a medical examination undertaken by a Doctor.    The medical doesn't have to be completed by your own local GP who may charge you much more for this - we will do the medical for just £90.

Please note that we do NOT undertake DVLA medical examinations after car/lorry/bus drivers have been disqualified from driving for a drink drive or drug drive offence as this needs to be undertaken by a DVLA Medical Examiner.

Please note that we do NOT undertake the following medicals:-

Taxi Driver Medicals as these must be carried out by your own GP taking into account taking the applicants full medical records;

Motor Sport Medicals - these often require an Exercise ECG;

PADI or Sports Dive Medicals.

Our prices are competitive, click here for details.  To keep our administration costs to a minimum, we ask that you book an appointment online and pay for the medical in advance using the link on this page.  Once you have booked your appointment and paid securely online you will receive a confirmation email sent from Humbermed Limited <No-Reply@Simplybook.me>, the email will contain a link to enable you to view your booked appointment. If you need to rearrange or cancel the appointment that you have booked please contact us by email at info@humbermed.co.uk and we will do this for you, otherwise the system will require you to pay again if you book another appointment.  If you don't receive the confirmation email having booked and paid for your appointment please check your junk folder and if not received please contact us to confirmation that your appointment has been booked.
